Yep, we all had to re-register. You'll be able to fix your post count and join date. I would wait until everything gets a bit more back to normal before doing so, though.

I know, it's rough going from long standing Moderator to Junior member all over again. It's kind of depressing. :D

I finally changed mine to what I've wanted it changed to for some time. So the re-register worked for me.
