I love goats, but I don't think I'd like to raise them. It was interesting to visit Carl Sandburg's home in North Carolina; his wife was a noted goat breeder, and there are still animals there from the Sandburg herd, which the National Park Service breeds and makes available to breeders.

I wouldn't mind a year without a summer! With few exceptions, it's mid-90s every day from May through early September. The 10-day forecast calls for highs from 93-97 and RealFeel (heat indexes) from 103-111. Would certainly help cut back on that $260 electric bill (and our rather small house is only kept at 80!)!!!
