From Glenn Beck's blog (yeah, I know ):
Many write: Palin is done.U don't understand EVERYTHING is about to change. What you thought you knew, could trust or depend on is shifting

So I'm thinking, yeah, if she or Tawd doesn't get indicted, she may be up to this. While the repugs are wondering what to do about the fundies hijacking their party, she'll either try to make it more so or strike out on her own. I sure hope so -- that will be so much fun to watch. She'll take the RW-fundie whackjobs with her and we'll see them organize and fall apart before our eyes. For a while anyway, the teabaggers, Klan, militia, and anti-government loons will have a place to go. I can't wait!
Just so you know, I don't visit his blog -- I don't have the stomach for it. But it was referenced in another thread about Beck whining that an out of state hospital wouldn't take his medical insurance. Too bad he doesn't want any of that commie librul socialist health care reform.

Somehow Glen Beck was mentioned in the article. I don't get that. Who cares? And no one cares about Romney's involvement in the GOP. Both irrelevant.
Meanwhile, there won't be any "third party". That's ridiculous.

My thoughts are that republicans should stop worrying about a candidate in 2012, and focus on selling the conservative view point to the american people again. To do that, they don't exactly need a good candidate, they need a good communicator. We don't need people out campaigning, we need them explaining why our views are best for the country. If they fail at that, then I don't really think it matters who runs next.

I don't see this working as our country gets dumber and dumber with our schools teaching easier and easier curriculum, refusing to fail kids in order that their fragile ego be protected.. We're graduating functional illiterates that colleges are having to put in remedial classes just to get them to the very basic level they need in order to attend college. That doesn't even address the sometimes 20-50% dropout rate students in some cities that are still allowed to vote..
Couple that with Obama and the Democrat party giving people more and more free stuff, and the conservative mindset of working for what you have and not depending on government is going to be harder and harder to sell with each passing welfare/entitlement bill.
But I agree that we should not be focusing on 2012 and concentrate, instead, on the 2010 mid-term election to take the power away from the maniacal Muslim dictator. We have to regain at least one of the houses, but with Obama controlling the census, that's going to be incredibly difficult to do.
