I'm back. I had seen a reference to that, but had not read the details. I really don't care much about comedians', or actors' in general, for that matter, political affiliations. Cleese is one of the most brilliant comedians of my generation, along with Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, and Rick Moranis. Given the irreverant content of Python, SNL, and Second City, it's not surprising that many of their members are liberals. Comedy, as a general rule, is anti-establishment in its nature.
Possibly. I would still like to know the rules, although from the name and the inferences in this thread, it seems sort of confrontational. You seem really experienced in it so I really wouldn't necessarily want to confront you there without some more knowledge of it. Perhaps, if the archives ever come back, I can look up some of the threads.
