Condit's slander suit against writer dismissed

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A federal judge has dismissed a slander lawsuit filed by former California congressman Gary Condit against author Dominick Dunne.

Condit claimed that Dunne falsely accused him on the "Larry King Live" show of involvement in the 2001 murder of government intern Chandra Levy.

It worked out well for the Michigan State Police, too, who had just killed a couple of hippies in a pothead version of Ruby Ridge (Rainbow Farm, in southwest Michigan, just north of Elkhart, IN).


Not that I'm a fan of Condit, but they never really did find any evidence that he killed Chandra Levy, just that he had had an affair with her.
