    Wingnut "loses it" in public

So I was picking up a prescription today and there were a lot of people on line. Some guy near me shook his head and said, "Jeez, if we have to wait much longer, Bush might just grow a brain."

Hearing his remark, an elderly, wingnut woman went berserk and screamed at him: "That's our president you're talking about. How dare you! How dare you speak about our president that way?"

The entire place went very silent and everyone looked at her like she was insane. (But then anyone who still backs Bush might very well be bordering on insanity.)

She looked around at everyone who was looking at her. "What's wrong with you people?" she said. "What ever happened to respect?" She then shut up and stared straight ahead with what I read as a look of pride at having set us all in our place.

The irony came about a minute later when another woman at the counter was told that her prescription was $312. She looked shocked and said, "Is that right? I can't afford that."

The pharmacist said that he'd double checked it and it was correct. She asked if she could pay it off, but the pharmacist sadly shook his head. She left without her prescription.

A few people turned to look at the wingnut, but she seemed to have missed the irony.
One half of a bong. At least the DUmmy Cyrano used the perfect opener "So...." to start the bouncy tale.

Right you are. All that gets is 1/2 bong for starting with "So." If a $312 dollar med bill doesn't convert you into a lifelong Demo, what will?

"I was pumping gas at the service station when I commented to myself at the top of my lungs how gas would be free if Obama were already President when this wingnut had a fit and told me that it I would still have to pay for gas no matter who's in the white house. Everyone else heard the wingnut's outrageous lie and sprayed him with their gas hoses and then set him on fire. He changed his voting preference to democratic right before he became a pile of bone and ashes. At least he can still vote for Obama this November."

And Bush is responsible for this HOW???? These idiots assume the Presidency is an omnipotent position. They THEN will make the absolute GIANT leap into saying nationalized healthcare is the answer. They don't realize that Canada's drug costs are subsidized BY US because they have nationalized healthcare. We pay for Canada drug costs because the companies would not make those drugs at the price that Canada forced on them. The companies would cease to exist - or they would simply stop making those drugs OR stop providing them to Canada altogether.

The simple DUmmy/Liberal answerfor this scenario is to Nationalize the drug industry.

So I was walking through the parkng lot of Top Foods and see a hefty lady with 20 bumper stickers on her car (Queer loving, Republican bashing, yadda, yadda) putting her groceries in her car. As I walk by I begin to laugh. She says "I dont know what your laughing about" and I said "All your bumperstickers" She says "Thank you" I said "It wasnt a compliment, I'm laughing at how stupid they look". Nothing more was said between usr althought my wife was horrified that I did that and let me know about it in the store.

I did have a monster margarita at dinner and the filter from my brain to my mouth was a bit clogged.

No wingnut would pay over $300 for a scrip... we're smart enough to ask Doc for something generic. Our doctors are really good by now, they don't even suggest the latest high dollar fad, they just call in the old reliable. :D

In actual dollars, President Obama’s $4.4 trillion in deficit spending in just three years is 37 percent higher than the previous record of $3.2 trillion (held by President George W. Bush) in deficit spending for an entire presidency. It’s no small feat to demolish an 8-year record in just 3 years.

Under Obama’s own projections, interest payments on the debt are on course to triple from 2010 (his first budgetary year) to 2018, climbing from $196 billion to $685 billion annually.

Folks with medicare get in what is called the "doughnut hole". We see it every day in home care. THey are covered from 0 to say 4K depending on thier plan. From 4K to 7 K they are responsible for at least 80%. After they reach 7K it goes back to a co-pay. It also depends on if the drug is on the covered list.

Just the other day we had a patient that needed 1gm of Azactam IV for 10m days. When we ran their insurance, it ended up that they would be responsible for $580 just for that drug. It seems that Azactam is not on the formulary for the plan that they have.

It sucks, but that is the fine plan that the congress of this US passed as medicare reform.

Are you trying to tell us that a government program is totally screwed up? No way! According to the Libiots and DUmmycRATS, government is the answer to all our woes.
