This is not a Pat Buchanan moment.

I truly think Cronkite was much more important in our history than Michael Jackson.

Yet, you can expect that nothing really big will be organized and that he won't be a news item tomorrow.

12. The difference there though is that Tim Russert played the game the corporate whores wanted him to.
Granted, I'd take him over Douche Gregory or Chuck Fraud any day, let alone any tool on FAUX.

But in order for the media to truly pay tribute to Walter Cronkite the way they did Timmy (or Michael) they would have to acknowledge how far they have fallen since his retirement from the CBS News desk.
