They do sneak in thier mentions of us! Even I got a mention a few years ago for all things a joke I had in the humor forum, it upset one of the moonbats enuf that it just had to complain to the hive! We have alot of members on thier hate list too! Wish I was on that! :D
$kinner and the Inner Circule are frightened that the Denizens might read something over here and question the limited wisdom found on DU.
Its like in Nazi Germany that it was a crime to listen to the BBC, or how the Soviets tried to block Radio Free Europe. They're just another little cyber fascist state that fears free minds more then anything else.
You listening $kinner? One day, liberty will not be denied!
UP THE REBELS!!!

Banned Websites
I think it's time to add Free Republic to the list of banned websites.
IMO, anything posted from there is by definition is a violation of DU rules. And, rules aside, it's just plain wrong and totally against everything DU stands for.
Thoughts?

...from being referenced on DU.

13. nope.
but people with less than 100 posts shouldn't get to propose rule changes. how about that?Rwalsh (81 posts) Sun Jul-19-09 07:17 PM

17. From the DU rules
Do not post messages that give publicity to websites that have little purpose other than to smear, disrupt, or complain about Democratic Underground. Currently there are only three websites that fall into this category. Their addresses are not listed here because we do not wish to give them publicity. They are easily identified by their bizarre obsession with Democratic Underground.
This, to me, seems to be a clear reference to Free Republic.http://www.democraticunderground.com...ss=389x6104139NYC_SKP (1000+ posts) Sun Jul-19-09 07:24 PM

19. No, it is not a clear reference to Free Republic.
If you saw the other sites, you'd understand the distinction.
There are subforums dedicated to us, with daily comments.
Free Republic mentions us from time to time, just as we do them.
That pretty much answers the rest of my questions!
