Let me preface this by saying that not all liberals are kookie moonbats but a very large percentage of them are so my question to some of the more rational ones is why do liberals use the tactics that they use? Rare do they ever use logic or facts or statistics(unless said statistics are skewed to fit their world view). Now I'm not saying that conservatives are perfect but more often than not, conservatives rely on actual factual data instead of raw emotion as liberals are apt to do. And liberals tend to ignore actual factual data. Take the subject of taxes. A liberal mantra is that the wealthy don't pay their fair share. However, we all know that this is far from the case and not only do the wealthy pay their fair share, they go above and beyond and it's the so called poor who aren't paying their fair share. The data, collected by the IRS shows that the top 50% of income earners pay 96% of the taxes while the bottom 50% pay a mere 4%. Of that top 50%, the top 1%, or the super rich, pay nearly 20% of the income taxes collected. This isn't a matter of opinion. This is stone cold fact yet the Democrats and other assorted leftist clowns harp on how the rich don't pay their fair share. That's just one example.
Another liberal trick is the use of name calling. Most often, if a liberal doesn't agree with someone yet doesn't have a logical and intelligent argument, they resort to name calling. Using terms such as war monger, Nazi and other inflammatory names is common practice. Nazi seems to be an overwhelming favorite of the left. Even Carrie Prejean was called a Nazi. On the Olbermann show, Michael Musto referred to her as "Klause Barbi-doll" meaning that Prejean had arranged for the extermination of several thousands of Jews I suppose. And of course there are the approximately millions of examples of calling Bush Hitler.
So, can someone help me out here? What the hell makes these people tick and why are they so afraid of having an intelligent conversation that doesn't result in silly name calling or some other temper tantrum.
