Let me preface this by saying that not all liberals are kookie moonbats but a very large percentage of them are so my question to some of the more rational ones is why do liberals use the tactics that they use? Rare do they ever use logic or facts or statistics(unless said statistics are skewed to fit their world view). Now I'm not saying that conservatives are perfect but more often than not, conservatives rely on actual factual data instead of raw emotion as liberals are apt to do. And liberals tend to ignore actual factual data. Take the subject of taxes. A liberal mantra is that the wealthy don't pay their fair share. However, we all know that this is far from the case and not only do the wealthy pay their fair share, they go above and beyond and it's the so called poor who aren't paying their fair share. The data, collected by the IRS shows that the top 50% of income earners pay 96% of the taxes while the bottom 50% pay a mere 4%. Of that top 50%, the top 1%, or the super rich, pay nearly 20% of the income taxes collected. This isn't a matter of opinion. This is stone cold fact yet the Democrats and other assorted leftist clowns harp on how the rich don't pay their fair share. That's just one example.

Another liberal trick is the use of name calling. Most often, if a liberal doesn't agree with someone yet doesn't have a logical and intelligent argument, they resort to name calling. Using terms such as war monger, Nazi and other inflammatory names is common practice. Nazi seems to be an overwhelming favorite of the left. Even Carrie Prejean was called a Nazi. On the Olbermann show, Michael Musto referred to her as "Klause Barbi-doll" meaning that Prejean had arranged for the extermination of several thousands of Jews I suppose. And of course there are the approximately millions of examples of calling Bush Hitler.

So, can someone help me out here? What the hell makes these people tick and why are they so afraid of having an intelligent conversation that doesn't result in silly name calling or some other temper tantrum.

Oh the irony. Pklease post JUST ONE example.

Oh please, do you even read this forum ?

Lets look at this thread... http://www.conservativeunderground.c...ad.php?t=16752

The OP made a BUNCH of claims...and offered NO LINBKS to back up ANY OF THEM.

I then created a post with many many links debunking the list...The mod pulled my post.

The thread STILL stands, and the OP still hasn't backed up ONE claim.

I'm not sure what their major malfunction is.

But I know a cure for it...

I find the use of the tag of Nazi such an oxymoron as Nazi is a left wing ideology.

Someone managed to get through school without taking modern European history, and is having a blind reaction to the word "socialist" in the name.

    I must disagree, Linda.

The attempted placement (largely successful) of the Nazi's on the right was a PURPOSELY misleading attempt by leftists to disassociate themselves with Hitler and Mussolini. Before the war, the left was fawning all over the fascist ideology - it was all the rage. That was until Hitler was known to be the monster he was. The leftists then made a rush to disassociate themselves, and since they dominate the media and educational establishments, they were largely successful in shaping the perception that they were right wing. That does not make it fact.

It is NOT just the name that places them on the left - it is the whole ideology.

Collectivism, the subordination of individuals to the state, agrarian reform, central planning - you name it, it is a left wing ideology.

This is not to say today's leftists are like Hitler. Most are not, but they ARE branches off the same tree.

It was neither a purely "left" or "right" wing ideology. Totalitarianism can be used in either ideology, but it always serves the state.

They're all a bunch of Nazi's, they just grab power in different ways. Different means to the same end.
I feel that once a black fella has referred to white foks as "honky paleface devil white-trash cracker redneck Caspers," he's abdicated the right to get upset about the "N" word. But that's just me. -- Jim Goad
