Rare do they ever use logic or facts or statistics(unless said statistics are skewed to fit their world view). Now I'm not saying that conservatives are perfect but more often than not, conservatives rely on actual factual data instead of raw emotion as liberals are apt to do. And liberals tend to ignore actual factual data.

This is why liberal talk radio fails. Liberal news outlets may not completely tank, but feedback is absolutely anathema to liberalism. They squelch it in the face-to-face arena by calling everyone who disagrees with them racists, or in Obama's case by only answering scripted questions from planted audience members, but the problem is that it's a bit harder to intimidate people over the phone.

It might take weeks, but eventually, someone will call you on your B.S., and it's a little hard to sustain a format of B.S., get called on B.S., lose argument, backpedal, B.S., hang up on caller before you get called on B.S., don't take calls for a while,...

The attempted placement (largely successful) of the Nazi's on the right was a PURPOSELY misleading attempt by leftists to disassociate themselves with Hitler and Mussolini. Before the war, the left was fawning all over the fascist ideology - it was all the rage. That was until Hitler was known to be the monster he was. The leftists then made a rush to disassociate themselves, and since they dominate the media and educational establishments, they were largely successful in shaping the perception that they were right wing. That does not make it fact.

It is NOT just the name that places them on the left - it is the whole ideology.

Collectivism, the subordination of individuals to the state, agrarian reform, central planning - you name it, it is a left wing ideology.

This is not to say today's leftists are like Hitler. Most are not, but they ARE branches off the same tree.

And do not forget eugenics. In the health care debate today they are fixated on "end of life care" and limiting the costs associated with it. This was a common thread between the progreesive movement of the 20's and the Nazi regime.

In Germany it began as a "quality of life" argument when the mentally and physically impared were thought to be living a "life not worth living." They were deemed to be a drain on state resources and for the "good of the state" were sent to the Hadamar clinic and ultimately euthanized, thus preserving state resources. This then evolved into the 'Final Solution" where Jews were deemed to be a subhuman drain on state resources than were deemed not to have lives worth living.

In today's "end of life care", persons will be consulted and ultimately convinced they have had a good life and will be encouraged to not extend their lives for the good of the state. This will help extend state resources, i.e. social security, medicare, etc. The closer the government can reduce projected life expectency to age 65 the more solvent social security becomes.

Since the government talks so freely about "end of life care", what about "beginning of life care?" What about children born premature? with birth defects? with Downs Syndrome? Will they deny treatment and just drop the baby in a closet and hope it will survive?

Because the educational establishment that so adored fascism in the 1920's & 1930's has undertaken a massive misinformation campaign to cover up the FACT that they did indeed adore the fascists.

We're getting off topic here. I didn't mention the Nazi thing for a discussion on European National Socialism And the Liberals Who Love Them. I mentioned it because instead of debating liberals sink to calling people names. I mean, what would cause a person to compare a beauty contestant to a person who killed or arrange for the deaths of thousands of people? This is not a rational and intelligent discussion point. Musto, in this case, didn't have a rational and intelligent thing to say so he brands Prejean as a Nazi. I can give more examples but I'm too damned tired. A company called Rennoc in my hometown is closing. Rennoc specialized in Christmas decorations and other apparel like custom jackets for local sports teams. As said, the are closing. People will be out of work. Who's job was saved? When Chrysler and GM were taken over by Dear Leader, hundreds of car dealerships were forced to close. Salespeople, service people, support staff lost jobs. Who's job was saved? Circuit City closed and per their information, approximately 30,000 employees lost their jobs. Who's job was saved. Shall I do on? The only jobs that are being saved under Obama ae government jobs. That is a stone cold fact.
