  1. #1 For All Americans on this Site
As you all well know the current administration is acting feverishly to re-write the Constitution of the United States of America. Soon a known critic against the Second Amendment will be taking her seat on the Supreme Court and will legislate from the bench counter to what the constitution requires our justices to do. The President is hostile to the Constitution and will continue to be, he is actively pursuing the same road that caused the First American Revolution, excessive taxes, restricting of liberties and the exploitation of its citizens. Legislation being discussed and passed to limit free speech, dismantling anything that associates America with its religion (Christianity). Apologizing to the world about our Nation being the cause of the worlds problems. 100's of thousands of Americans are starting to wake up and see what this is all about, the eventuality of America no longer being a Republic. While I am not advocating the overthrow of our government, I am for the re-implementation of the Government our Founders started. This used to be quite whispers but is starting into a growing Chorus of Patriots ready to take back what our Founders wanted. Some Candidates for Office are openly calling for the government to back down or else, see this video.

America needs to wake up, now.

    Don't bet on that Shannon.

The reason for the 10th Amendment resolutions being passed throughout the country are one very big legal step in THIS direction. Hopefully, states will start enforcing their 10th amendment privs, and we'll see a roll-back of several federally mandated programs, state by state, that are unconstitutional, according to that 10th amendment clause.

I don't think so.. The number of poor in this country is exploding, due both to illegal immigration and birthrates, but it's always been true that the most unfit among us to breed have the most kids, and I think we've reached a tipping point where more people are collecting than are paying. One reason is that Obama has very discreetly manipulated the IRS so that half of Americans pay no tax-this gave him a very solid voting base.
Obama-if you're being run out of town, get out in front and pretend that it's a parade!!!

Well, she's correct. The Founders never cared one way or the other about firearms for hunting - the right was clearly designed to be the last ditch response to tyranny.

Still, I pray it never comes close to that.

The number of 'takers' vs 'payers' plays into this and helps to prove my point...i.e. - the more they suck from the government "teet", the more the governments aren't going to be able to handle it. When state's start reasserting their 10th amendment rights, (which they are doing now), it's an indication that the states have had enough.

Most (if not all) of the programs those 'takers' take from are federally mandated programs to the states, and they are unconstitutional.

If you could imagine the number of people in America who over use illegal and illegal drugs as will as the the volume of alcohol that gets consumed you'd be suprised that America can even make it to the bathroon in the middle of the night much less wake up.

    Oh no doubt.

But - one need not be a "pillar" of society, in order to fight for their country.

Why don't we just hand over the keys right now then?

Everyone may not wake up at the same time, but eventually everyone will have too. Then those who aren't brain-dead will have to choose which side they stand with.

Us Americans are still living off the wealth we accumulated 20 years ago plus all that money that we borrowed.

We are still pretty much living high on the hog so we aren't really riled up about things.

We will do like the Europeans and ease into Socialism. There will never be a magic wake up moment.

We are pretty much screwed. I don't even think that at this time we can even fix our problems at the ballot box. The best we will do at the ballot box is slow down the Socialism a little bit.

I am at the age where I lived most of my life in the greatest country on earth. I will probably die in a much less great country. Certainly much poorer.
