Not even a little bit. I actually kind of anticipated obama winning and then including all the old clinton folks in the administration when my liberal friends wouldn't listen. i'm encouraged that other young people seem to be waking up and realizing the government shouldn't be charged with solving society's problems. in fact i think the obama presidency can go a long way to a reawakening of belief in small government.

Sadly i was about 4 years old the last time they had a winning season. i'd love to see pnc park (the best park in sports if you ask me) filled with some real enthusiasm. i'm glad they traded away basically the whole team this year tho. when freddy sanchez and jack wilson are two of your best players then, yeah, you need to start over from scratch.

i'd say give it 2 more years and they should be alright.
