    "Violence is NEVER progressive." Wrong.
    I've been hearing a lot of dissent from pseudo-pacifists in here recently when it comes to violence against violent freepers. They keep saying that we aren't suppose to fight back. Some even mention that guns are against progressive ideals. It's a load of BS. There is nothing stated anywhere that supports the claim that violence is inherently anti-progressive.

    But let me be clear. There is a difference between preemptive violence and using violence in self-defense. There is a difference between leveling a non-combative city, like Baghdad, and fighting against the Nazi invasion of France.

    As progressives, we must exhaust all non-violent, legal methods of resolution before we ever consider violent action. That's why we have courts, elections, and politicians that you can speak to about grievances. Our system is designed to make violence all but obsolete. That is the point of a democratic system with multiple levels of government.

    But what is the next step after all legal, non-violent methods of conflict resolution have failed?

    As a means of self-defense, violence is absolutely justified. When there is nothing else to protect your life and the lives of others, you must protect it with force.

    As a means of disobedience against a tyrannous government or occupation, violence can be justified. When there is no method left for peaceful resolution, action must be taken.

    Guns are simply a means to accomplish these goals. They are not inherently bad or good. They are tools. But that does not discount their lethality. In the wrong hands, guns can be incredibly harmful and destructive. But when used correctly during a time of need, guns are effective tools of self-preservation and revolution.

    Violence is almost never the answer. We must be extremely thorough when attempting to resolve a problem with peaceful means. But when peaceful justice ends, and lives are at risk, we must be willing to defend ourselves and our movement.

    I am in no way glorifying violence. We should never celebrate the destruction of men. But at times, there is no other option

    "Weapons are the tools of violence;
    all decent men detest them.

    Weapons are the tools of fear;
    a decent man will avoid them
    except in the direst necessity
    and, if compelled, will use them
    only with the utmost restraint.
    Peace is his highest value.
    If the peace has been shattered,
    how can he be content?
    His enemies are not demons,
    but human beings like himself.
    He doesn't wish them personal harm.
    Nor does he rejoice in victory.
    How could he rejoice in victory
    and delight in the slaughter of men?

    He enters a battle gravely,
    with sorrow and with great compassion,
    as if he were attending a funeral."

    The only violence progressives are comfortable is that violence done to the constitution using a pen as the weapon, or the damage done to reputations of American patriots with their big mouths!

    I don't know a whole lot about shooting, but that does sound like a bit of a stretch. Like so many other moonbats, this one knows that none of the mob has any clue on the subject, so they can spout whatever they want to sound impressive. Any moles to ask him to post a video?

    Friction. Good word. Maybe the hive isn't as uniform and in lock-step as they would have folks think.
