Boil the hotdogs in water first. Then put them in a deep fryer for a couple of minutes. They are great that way.

Don't forget to use celery salt.

Heh, we did that tonite but forgot the celery salt! It was pretty good, a slice of cheese and some hot mustard with coleslaw slathered on them, it was good! Thanks Gator, you finally put up something tasty, even if it was just hotdogs! :D

Well, we made six of the bacon wrapped dogs, and they were a huge hit with a buddy of mine and his wife!! The crispy bacon made the dogs delicious, but instead of serving them with slaw, we just used mustard, relish and ketchup.. New Englanders don't get the whole slaw thing that I grew up eating..

Correct slaw involves sugar and vinegar, not that mayonnaise loaded mess.

Yes, they eat coleslaw up here, but growing up, it was just slaw, and it was much different.. I don't see the people around here actually put the coleslaw on anything, but instead just eat it out of its bowl.. Unlike growing up where we would put slaw on our burgers and hot dogs, like in the recipe provided here..

I think that slaw on a dog or a burger is an acquired taste, so I played it safe..
