TOTD: I would want to be in Prescott, Arizona. Probably laying in the grass under a large tree just outside of the county courthouse, reading a good book. Later, I would stroll through the Sharlotte Hall Museum for the umpteenth time and then maybe hit Whiskey Row afterward for a drink.
This one was pretty big and shiny and new as well. What was interesting (and a bit relieving as well) was that, at 4:00 pm on a Saturday afternoon, it was virtually empty! I had thought all of these places were supposed to be packed, particularly now?

    Whiskey Row? Sounds interesting.

TOTD: Okay, if I say "hanging out somewhere in the Keys..." my wife would post a again...so, my answer is...hanging out in some beach-side tiki bar, guzzling beers and eating good seafood with my literary idol, Ed Lee. 'Nuff said.

A street or "row" of bars, saloons, pubs, a couple of hotels...it has a lot of history and it's right in the heart of downtown Prescott, across the street from the courthouse.

More than you ever wanted to know about Whiskey Row can be found here. I browsed the site for a couple of minutes and already learned some new things.

    Sunday morning:
Sun has brightened up the room enough to give me that twilight moment between asleep and awake, I stretch and the little black dog at my feet lifts his head enough to see if I am serious. A thirty eight pound body comes hurling out of nowhere "snuggles mama" and dives under the covers. A tall man with a killer smile and a cup of coffee just for me gives me a kiss and says "good morning babe"
Thats my sundays and there is no other place I would rather be...
I smile because I don't know what the heck is going on.
