I always thought the idea of Tarantino doing a WWII film was pretty bad-ass, and I went go see it on Sat. While the movie didn't exactly meet my expectations, it was a riot. Brad Pitt was hilarious as Aldo Raine and it was a thoroughly enjoyable movie. I give it a solid B+
And a World War II movie with a soundtrack that includes David Bowie and 70s funk automatically equals win in my book, and only Tarantino can get away with something like that.
Anyone else go see it?
