The peas were great, they have always been one of my favorites. I had a bunch planted this spring but they got drowned and then drought-ed that really sucked!

Usually people hate them because they've had slimy, overcooked ones. I either cut them in half and steam them, then toss with lemon and butter, or roast them in olive oil, salt, and pepper, in the oven.

Exactly! Her mother used to murder them. We just got a steamer recently and it made a believer out of me!

Good for you! I only make the crusts from scratch on the weekends as I don't have the time at night after work. It's good either way.

Try this:

Dice the sprouts finely and cook them in butter briefly. Add some salt and pepper before serving. Die hard spout-haters seem to find this preparation acceptable.

Hey, they make these pre-made and frozen.

All ya gotta do it put 'em in the oven. The green peas are a special treasure.

And the carrot cubes are all the same size.

I've never cared much for peas, always picked them out as a kid...still do sometimes now. One of the few food items that I don't care for.
