It's very scary when folks around your own age start dying. And I always wonder, why do the good people seem to get taken sooner? Why do bad things happen to good people? I guess there will never be an answer to those questions.

It's never easy to say goodbye. And yet as people of faith, we can rest in the comfort that he is now in the loving arms of the Lord. My heartfelt sympathy to you and his loved ones.

I am so sorry about your friend, SLW. In all the articles they mention what a greyt guy he was.

The story of the Amish woman involved is so tragic as well.

Would you mind sending me any links to articles other than the one I posted? I was very upset today after reading the front page of our lib rag, the Post-Dispatch. They talked all about the Amish people, who were being driven from their home to attend a funeral, but the only mention they made in our paper about Keith was a quote from a neighbor who said they always saw him at wine tastings and what a greyt guy he is. But there was no mention of his family, his being killed on the way home from a business appointment, etc. The press just doesn't get it. Sigh.

Truck driver is having 'breakdown,' says dad
    (disturbing picture)
Collinsville resident Geff Clenney, who has been a friend to Cason for about 15 years, said he spoke to Cason on Tuesday, a few hours before the crash.

"Knowing Keith, it's like you knew him your whole life," Clenney said. "We'd see each other at wine tastings or other (functions in town). He was one of those people who never met a stranger."
This is bigger than presidential politics. This is a battle for America.
