    They had it disguised as a mosquito control truck!!! :eek::D

As others have pointed out, contrails are just condensation or very rarely, a fuel dump. Get as excited as you want about planes falling out of the sky but don't give the water vapor a second thought. ;)

    Thank you for explaining it to me!

    It's always good to know where this stuff comes from.

    Anytime. There's an actual psychological explanation for these phenomena: contamination fears. They crop up any time people notice that an "unusual" factor has been introduced into their environment. It could be anything: pasteurized milk (back in the old days), fluoride water treatments (Americans have the best dental health of any large nation), air duct cleaning services (how did we survive before MonsterVac?), etc.

    The loopier you are personally, the more credence you will put in some of these things.
