I've seen too many. I'm watching something called "Rest Stop" right now. I want to beat the hell out of the dumb "star". Why do I watch this kind of stupidity? Although I did see a preview today for a new Kiefer movie that looked scary.:D

how can you watch those things? I live alone with the little bug, no way can I watch anything even remotely scary!
I smile because I don't know what the heck is going on.

This is my point. They don't even scare me. I don't know why I watch them. They are stupid. Though Tristan has recently started to ask me if he can watch them.

Slasher movies don't bother me in the least. The ones that make my balls retreat back up inside are ones about magic weddings and mothers-in-law.
At Coretta Scott King's funeral in early 2006, Ethel Kennedy, the widow of Robert Kennedy, leaned over to him and whispered, "The torch is being passed to you." "A chill went up my spine," Obama told an aide. (Newsweek)

I'm such a bad mom.:p The violence in these movies doesn't bother me as far as if it's okay for Tristan. I don't like him to watch any movies that have sexual content. I am aware of how warped I am.:p

so do what I do when Lilly wants a "scary bedtime story"
I tell her I don't have a 401K, the house is mortgaged, I have no life insurance, I am retiring when she is 18 and the cost of tuition is doubling at an outstanding rate!
I smile because I don't know what the heck is going on.

This really is one of the stupidest horror movies ever made...and yet I'm still watching it.

Shannon, you want REAL old school AMERICAN horror, pick up a film called "Hatchet". If you even remotely enjoy old school Halloween/Friday the 13th style flicks it's one of the best in recent memory.

Watch for the revolving camera angle "head pop". It's all I'm gonna say:D
