A symbol of California's car culture is now picking up and moving a big chunk of its operations out of state. Earlier this week, the California State Automobile Association, an affiliate of the national AAA, announced it is closing all three of its call centers in the state at a loss of 900 jobs. Spokeswoman Cynthia Harris was quite blunt about the reason: "It costs more to do business in California than other states."
If the fools in California ever learn how they are ruining a perfectly good state, maybe they can change. In the meantime, I'm their next door neighbor in Arizona and I don't want them to Californicate Arizona (any more than they already have).
The state spent 40%+ more since Gov Arnold took over. The sales tax is the nation's highest, personal & business taxes are high and the dems are proposing raising them even more
Meanwhile Arnold Schwarzenegger dances... Fags are us !.............
Eventually Calif will have to tax itself out of business. Of course, we'll always have San Francisco. /s/

At Coretta Scott King's funeral in early 2006, Ethel Kennedy, the widow of Robert Kennedy, leaned over to him and whispered, "The torch is being passed to you." "A chill went up my spine," Obama told an aide. (Newsweek)

What this means is that CA's demographic trend is increasingly shifting to poorer immigrants who require increased social services, and shifting from productive workers/investors, while those productive folks who remain will continue to shoulder a greater tax burden to cover the increase in poorer folks. Factor in CA's high regulatory costs and you have a formula for longterm economic stagnation/decline.

Compared with the bile that was squeezed into Houston after Katrina - Iíll stick with CA.At Coretta Scott King's funeral in early 2006, Ethel Kennedy, the widow of Robert Kennedy, leaned over to him and whispered, "The torch is being passed to you."
