what i was actually referring to was the fact that out here we are experiencing much more "extreme" weather events. This means, hotter days in the summer and colder days in the winter. Extremes are significant in the desert especially because many people rely on agriculture/ranching for survival.

There are better places to farm. Just like there are better places to build houses than the Mississippi delta! If you could bottle common sense it would be worth far more than any drug!

unfortunately this does not involve the people we have forced into subsistance- life-styles in the rural areas, like the navajo nation for example
