Since I've been swimming at the Community Center, I've noticed just how commonplace tattoos are. Even people who used to never get them are getting them, like black people and middle-class white mothers.
I don't have one, no females in my family have them. My dad has his name written on his arm, he got that done when he was in Tokoyo, on R&R from Korea. My younger cousins have tattoos, and my cousin's pregnant girlfriend has a pierced nose.
