    Story Here

The ombudsman for PBS apologized Thursday for a “Sesame Street” skit in which the world-famous muppets mocked “Pox News” – a clear attack on the Fox News Network.

In the episode, which aired Oct. 29, one of Sesame Street's creations, the Grouch News Network, hosted by muppet “Oscar the Grouch,” is discussing GNN's dedication to "all grouchy, all disgustin', all yucky" news. But another character feels that the Grouch is not grouchy enough and threatens to switch to "Pox News, now there's a trashy news show," she says.

I was outraged when the skit originally ran two years ago.

    Pox News

Actually I wasn't because this is the first I've heard of it.

I never watched when I was a kid. It was more fun watching Jerry beat the hell out of Tom than that sissy PBS crap!

My niece and nephews love tom and Jerry still - And I loved Tiny Toons when I was a kid! Only one of the lil' buggers likes Sesame Street - the baby. He's hooked on Elmo.

Stand up for what is right, even if you have to stand alone.
