Chelski and ManPew need to be afraid, very afraid as Fabregas and Arshavin are stepping up the pace. They are now second, at least for the day, overtaking United on points difference with the same number of games played. Hopefully United will retake second place by beating Chelski today as the Gunners will fall to third, but with the game in hand on both, and Chelski will be pulled back.

And this year's Champions League contenders also need to look out as Arshavin is no longer cup-tied. It's going to be a good year! :D

ARSENAL made Mick McCarthy eat his words as they reinforced their title credentials in spectacular fashion.
McCarthy had cheekily claimed Arsene Wenger would be 'quaking in his boots' at the thought of taking his young Guns to Molineux.

But the Wolves boss had little to joke about after seeing own goals from Ronald Zubar and Jody Craddock hand the visitors a commanding lead inside 36 minutes.

Cesc Fabregas piled the misery on just before the break and Andrey Arshavin added a touch of gloss to the scoreline in the second half.

Craddock pulled one back a minute from time but it was little more than a consolation as Wolves slipped into the bottom three.

Unbeaten in 13 matches in all competitions, Wenger's side are a real threat to pacesetters Chelsea and current champions Manchester United.

They are scoring goals for fun but not all of them are of their own making ó as Wolves will testify after this mauling.
