Balloon boy parents plead guilty

Richard Heene, the father accused of pulling a spectacular hoax by reporting his son, Falcon, was aboard a runaway balloon has pleaded guilty to a felony charge of attempting to influence a public servant.

Richard and Mayumi Heene appeared in a Colorado court on Friday. Mr Heene, 48, entered a guilty plea and his wife, Mayumi -a 45-year-old Japanese national who could have been deported if convicted of more serious charges - admitted a misdemeanor offense of false reporting to authorities

Completely as an aside.

I read that the blimp got its name from a military classification. There were two types of lighter-than-air crafts, classified by the type of construction.

Type A had a rigid frame (Like the Hindenburg or the Macon) and type B had no frame (Limp, as it were).

A-Rigid....B-Limp.....became Blimp.

2: Banned from appearing on TV or Radio.
3: Banned from selling a book or their story.
4: Send her back to Japan.
5: Send him to Norther Iraq to tour the Iranian Border.
6: Send the kids to Grandparents house.

Make em' pay all the bills related to this and make them go to a psychologist for a very long time.
Ban them from TV as well.

BTW .. i saw the interviews before they admitted what they did.
The kids were behaving very badly.
Rude and no discipline.

i completely agree with 1, 2 and 3, plus time in prison and fines for defrauding the police, military, etc. there should be investigations into whether they are fit parents as well but i don't think grandma should get stuck with three bratty boys.
