Albert Pujols just got the Most Valuable Player award for the third time. He's one of 10 in the history of baseball who have achived this distinction. The only person with more is Barry Bonds with 7.
And the voting was unanimous!! Albert is a good player and an even better human. He and his wife just helped fund a program with a local hospital to provide assistance to those with downs syndrome over 18 years old. It's at that age that support programs are discontinued. They have a daughter with it and help quite a bit in this community.
