My favorite didn't make the top 200, it ranked 238 or so! It was a tough one to beat!!

Good to see much respect paid to the old school classics, both console and arcade.

Looks like they got all the important ones in. What makes me really sad is that I've played so few of those games. :(

My top 10 in no particular order:

    Mario Kart
    Street Fighter II
    Final Fantasy VI (III US)
    Final Fantasy X
    Final Fantasy IX
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
    Super Mario World
    Golden Eye
    Dragon Quest VIII
    Final Fantasy Tactics
Nothing helps a bad mood like spreading it around.

That seems like a fairly logical top 200, I can't think of anything that should be there, except for maybe Mafia and Shenmue.

It's one of the most underrated video games in the series. Contrast that with FF7 which is the most OVER-rated video game ever. I'm just glad these guys had the sense to put it under FF6.

The other two you mentioned, I haven't played. I've only played around 35 of these games, and probably 15 of them have been for 10 minutes or less. :(

I still enjoy Tetris and it's spin off games.

No Pong, Astroids or Tank? What about Duck Hunt?

    Pong was 158.

I would have thought Pac-Man would have been much higher.

Pong, while being the first, and highly influential beyond a shadow of a doubt, just don't cut it as a great game. Asteroids and Duck Hunt should have a spot though.
