OK, I don't think coca will grow in the US. I may be wrong. Opium would be about as much as you could get from the poppy without a lab. It would not bother me to see laws dropped on these. The price would drop so low it would not support pushers.

I do not think there would be anymore drugs on the street than there are right now and there would probably be less. I remember that ad. I like mine with bacon and a side of toast.

Smoke all the pot you want - It may be tough to get/keep a job to pay for it. Watch WC insurance rates go through the roof.
I would agree to legalizing them in their natural plant forms , people used them for centuries without any major problems. It's the chemical derivatives that are the main problem. The government is not likely to legalize any natural form of drug other than pot, It's to hard to tax and they are not really about health, It's taxes and control!
I disagree. The more drugs on the street; the more users you will have. Take gambling for example. More casinos that open such as the one in the western part of TN, the more addiction you have. Big problem in that area.
What is the redeeming benefit/value of smoking pot? Other than medical purposes for those that have cancer, it is a drug to get high. Most people that drink alcohol do not drink it to get drunk. I mean, if you smoke grass, you are smoking it to get shit faced. I also believe that more pot on the street will result in the increase of crime.
During prohibition, everyone who bought alcohol bought it on the black market. When prohibition ended, that changed and now pretty much everybody buys their alcoholic beverages legally, except for moonshine in the south and the people who make their own wine and such at home.
If the government were to set some kind of official level of THC that was allowed in legal pot, the black market would still thrive from selling the primo stuff. I know men who are totally hooked on cuban cigars. Nothing else will do it for them. They go to Windsor to buy them, and they smuggle them through customs, along with a bottle or two of 222s. It's the same principle.
im pretty sure ca will limit its legalization to just Marijuana, for a few years, and just stick with what I think is our only expanding job market here in ca.
Medical mj is like a green plague lol.
