Yeah, it was fun and all but I'm a creature of habit and I'm ready to get back in my routine.

How long do you leave your tree and other stuff up?

How long before you feel like you're back in your routine?

We always leave the tree and decorations up til Epiphany. Jan 6th.
Stand up for what is right, even if you have to stand alone.

Epiphany for us as well - realistically, the weekend nearest it.

We're suppose to take this stuff down? When did this start?

You could just change all the bulbs to white and call them nightlights... :)

It's coming down Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. The outside usually stays up until mid-January depending on conditions.

I like the whole thing but I'm not "in love" with it. If I wanted my house to look like a holiday display from an upscale department store, I'd do that year-round.

Once the tree is down and the artifacts are put away, we'll move into Winter mode in terms of decor. Our routine will return pretty much tomorrow. I must say that I'll be glad to get back to "normal". :D
