[SIZE="2"]I gotta say that I love eating lobsters, BUT who was that first guy that grabbed one and said, wow, that looks good enuf to eat!!
It's no surprise that back in the old days, they were considered a "trash" fish for the poor, since preparation was such work - and there were zillions of them all over the place. :o
Most restaurants you just see the meat and not the horrible parts! And the meat is heaven!!
If they gave it to you and you had tod do the breaking open and the gutting, I agree its gross!
I think they broke it open, but the cockroach was still there. I agree that it's probably better if served out of the shell.
Instead of going "ewwww, ewwww", y'all could just leave them to those of us who love them and who do not find cooking and shelling them to be as much of a challenge.
