    duckduckgo.com - Duck Duck Go is fast and has zero-click info so you get what you're looking for quicker.

    I'm sorry, Google is faster. I've never seen a search engine give me a spinning ball progress indicator before but duckduckgo did when I searched for "Asus gts8800".

    Let's not mention I used to think Google and Bing were stupid sounding. Duckduckgo takes the cake in terms of goofy names.

    Goofy names are easy to remember.Dogpile,Yahoo,Hotbot,Inktomi...

    "Search engine names fall broadly into three categories.

    Some, like AlltheWeb and the former Infoseek, are functional names.

    Others, like Teoma, use words from non-English languages.

    In the third category are the services with colorful or goofy names."

    I just dumped Google and switched to Bing a few hours ago. Bing's very... different, but I think I'll get used to it, in time.
