Yeah if he lays down his weapon and surenders.....

Otherwise you cut him down where he lays...
One does not greet death when he knocks at your door.

Nay you repeatedly punch him in the throat as he slowly drags you away.

As Governor GWB could just stand aside as CIC he basicly has to sign the death warrant. Why his daddy nor Clinton signed it is puzzling. I'm not convinced the death penalty works as a deterrent and it costs more to the taxpayer than a life sentence.

How do they execute under the UCMJ? Firing squad, hanging, electric chair?

100% of offendors executed never reoffend...and you are not making sense.

A life sentence costs millions in jail time, food and guards.

    A bullet costs $1.25.

Appellate process in the U.S. costs millions. Prison costs can and should be driven down.

This would not be a hard call for me. He deserves the death penalty.

Life without parole. Death is the easy way out.

Problem is, in this war, the enemy in this war are not soldiers but common thugs that need to be put down as quickly as possible. Soldiers wear the uniform of a nation. Terrorists like who we're fighting do not and therefore do not deserve quarter and should be lined up against a wall and shot as soon as they are captured, wounded or not.
