And they don't even realize why. They are blaming the loss on Obama playing to the center. They can't even admit that their own liberal policies are being rejected by the American people who see their socialism for what it is. They blame it on Coakley not campaigning hard enough and refuse to see that it is the profane health care bill that caused her down fall.

I saw it expressed well in a nutshell in a newspaper story this morning:

"Alex Vogel, a GOP strategist, said the White House was right in dismissing Coakley as a "bad candidate."

"But that alone doesn't explain losing Ted Kennedy's Senate seat mere months after his death," Vogel said. "President Obama won the state by 26 points, and the entire congressional delegation is Democratic. What the Brown success tells me is that the electorate did not leave the Bush years liberalized; they left angry with bad and ineffective government."

Thanks, man! I am amazed that Kennedy's seat was handed to a Republican so soon after his death in a state where Dems outnumber Repubs by a very large margin! The race went to Brown in my town by 2:1!! Kinda renews my faith in humanity.
