Far-Right Extremists were a More Dangerous Threat to National Security, it said.
................."They sound Just Like "Nappy""
Muslim police officers have rebelled openly against the Government’s anti-terrorism strategy, warning that it is an “affront to British values” which threatens to trigger ethnic unrest.
The National Association of Muslim Police (NAMP) claimed that ministers were wrong to blame Islam for being the “driver” behind recent terrorist attacks.
The officers told MPs that Muslims were being “stigmatised” by the Government’s attempts to tackle terrorism, which was adding to “hatred” against entire communities.
In the official intervention, the association said the Government’s anti-terrorism policies could not “continue unchecked”.
The comments, made in a seven-page memorandum to a parliamentary committee investigating extremism, are embarrassing for Gordon Brown. They indicated that Muslim officers may be reluctant to take part in “hearts and minds” anti-terrorism campaigns.
The organisation, which represents more than 2,000 officers, was previously publicly backed by Mr Brown. The Prime Minister said the association was crucial to bridge the historic divide between Muslims and the police.
There have been growing concerns about the radicalisation of Muslims in Britain. The failed Detroit bombing on Christmas Day was carried out by an al-Qaeda-inspired extremist who had studied in London.
The Daily Telegraph disclosed last week that American intelligence agencies believed that Britain had the greatest number of Islamic extremists of any Western country.
It is thought to be the first time that the Muslim association, which was founded in 2007, has criticised government policy.
In an analysis of the Prevent strategy, which is a set of policies designed to stop radicalisation, the organisation claimed: “The strategies of Prevent were historically focused on so-called Islamist extremism.
“This has subjected the biggest black and ethnic minority community, and second biggest faith group, in an unprecedented manner, stigmatising them in the process.
“Never before has a community been mapped in [such] a manner . . . it is frustrating to see this in a country that is a real pillar and example of freedom of expression and choice.
“Our British system is a model for the world to follow, yet we have embarked on a journey that has put this very core of British values under real threat.”
The association warned there were “echoes” of the racism of the 1970s and 1980s which led to inner city riots. “We appear to have ignored the lessons learnt from these dark days,” the officers said.

Oh, it's all about Islam all right:
Crucial Events in the Evolution of the Terrorist
Intrusive Civilization (Western Society)
Intelligentsia (Expatriate Liaison-Class)
Alienation, Humiliation, Loss of Identity
Voluntary Sorting of Affinity Groups
Concentration of True Believers
Islam has no such capacity. Even under the Caliphate Islam lacked the ability to see itself as anything other than a permanent system of behaviors geared toward avoiding punishment in the here and now (from religious fanatics) and punishment in the hereafter. There was no place in Islam for a gentle reformation. The best that could happen was the implementation of a locally less harsh version of Islam but this has always been subject to instant reversions to the pure faith.
All of this makes it almost inevitable that Muslims need to either lose their cultural identity to assimilate in the West or they experience cultural alienation from both the West and their ancestral home. There just isn't any secular model for them today. You're either a believer or an apostate.

What really bothers me is that the Muslims use our own attitudes of hate speech and intolerance against us. Most Muslim controlled countries are intolerant of any thing that hints of behavior contrary to Islamic beliefs to the point of imprisonment and or death. When they actually live in a community that exemplifies an attitude of tolerance towards others, they exploit that attitude by playing the role of the victim. At the same time they show little to no tolerance to the people who live in the countries where they have migrated to.
At some point societies are just going to have to put ther foot down or prepare to adopt Islamic ideology for themselves and abandon any actions of tolerance towards other faiths and beliefs. However, instead of cowtowing to the supposed victimization of muslim immigrants countries are going to have to classify them and treat them as they would anyone else.
Please don't shoot me

Islam Is Not a religion, It's more of a political system to govern lawless desert tribes with violent rules and punishments .It has long ago outworn its original purpose and is kept 'alive' by fear and terror and threats of death for those who fall away or deny it's tenets !It propagates itself through threats of death and ursurps and destroys any other religion in its path absorbing their property and claiming it for Islam.
It's core beliefs are an amalgam of those taken from Judaism,Christianity and Zoroastrianism by Mohammad listening to desert tribes at camp fires during his camel selling journeys. He embraced a system beliefs based on his family's Verdik Hindu traditions with Allah the moon god and his two daughters at the center blending them into Hebrew stories of Abraham and Ishmael !
He was visited by a spirit,Said to be The Hebrew messenger angel Gabriel, for good or evil, during a bout of epilepsy in a cave in the Arabian desert foothills .
He also claims he was given a mission from God.Gabriel is unique to Hebrew scriptures as an messenger of GOD bearing good tidings to his people but in this incarnation he seems to be more of an guide than a messenger .
He attempted to sell his new religion to his neighbors at Mecca, his 'home town'
and was driven out by the people who laughed at his new religion but he in anger vowed revenge.
He then organized a tribe of desert outcasts into a roving band of bandits that terrorized the Mecca and Medina locality and preyed on the desert tribes. They were the cadre of his new Islamic beliefs. He and is followers eventually conquered Mecca,Medina and most of the Arabian Peninsula between the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf.
