Jarrett: We Turned The Economy Around

This was the most entertaining interview I've heard in months. I literally laughed until coffee came out of my nose. The fact that she actually tried to claim that they've been doing a good work when it comes to managing the economy and unemployment is laughable.
The argument that Bush created all the problems in this country in the past eight years and that Obama is fixing them all is also laughable. I flipped around the talk shows this morning and all the WH talkers spewed the same nonsense about inheriting this huge deficit when Bush inherited a surplus.
Here are few notes posted by Noel Sheppard over at newsbusters about this deficit:
> On March 14, 2008, then Sen. Obama voted in favor of the 2009 budget which authorized $3.1 trillion in federal outlays along with a projected $400 billion deficit. The 51-44 vote that morning was strongly along party lines with only two Republicans saying "Yes."
> When the final conference report was presented to the House on June 5, not one Republican voted for it.
> This means the 2009 budget was almost exclusively approved by Democrats, with "Yeas" coming from Obama, his Vice President Joe Biden, his Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, and his Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
> On October 1, 2008, Obama, Biden, and Clinton voted in favor of the $700 billion Troubled Assets Relief Program designed to prevent teetering financial institutions from completely destroying the economy.
> In February, 2009, a $787 billion stimulus bill was passed with just three Republican votes, and later signed by Obama.
> Weeks later, Congress approved and Obama signed $410 billion of additional spending.
> Add it all up, and Obama approved every penny spent in fiscal 2009 either via his votes in the Senate or his signature as President.

You turned it around alright, we now have the largest debt in the history of the world. Please stop helping us, we can't afford it.

Yeah, the economy "improved" so much that it lost 85,000 jobs last month. It also seems to have escaped Ms. Jarrett's notice that the economy needs to create 125,000 to 150,000 jobs, each and every month, just to absorb new workers that enter the labor force thanks to population growth. This means we're running close to a quarter million jobs short of the point at which the unemployment rate would remain steady, month after month.
Ms. Jarrett, the economy needs to generate many, many more jobs than a quarter million a month, every month, before the voters you need will begin to notice your "improved" economy.
Is this administration still trying to fool the people -- or themselves?

"We are so proud of our accomplishments. Because of us, unemployment which WAS going to hit 8% without the $787,000,000,000 stimulus we pushed through is now 10%. The real unemployment figure is closer to 17% if you count those that have given up or are underemployed. We are NOT going to stop fighting for the American people until all Americans can enjoy the good schools like we have in Southside Chicago where the President and I are from. We are NOT going to stop fighting until all neighborhoods are as safe as Altgen Gardens. We are looking to pass a "Railroad Tie Control Ban" in all cities because of our experience in Chicago. Railroad ties have been coming into our cities from out of state and decimating our communities. We are NOT going to stop until all Americans can live in the type of housing I have been providing for my tenets in Chicago. We must look to our work in Chicago as a model for the type of change we hope to bring to the rest of the country."

Valarie Jarret vetted the out spoken Marxist commie green tzar Van Jones. She was seen on video saying that Obama was very familiar with all of this man's work and ideas and that the administration was over joyed to have him. When his Marxists redistribution of our wealth philosophy became known Jarret quietly dumped him . But he still works for Obama's operatives to this date. Jarret and Obama are obvious Marxists . Thanks Main Stream Media this is all your doing. ABC NBC CBS CNN MSNBC should be very proud of themselves for actively campaigning for this total failure of a president.
When will Harvaaard let us know what a genius we have in office by releasing Obama's super secret academic records. They gave up Bush's grades faster than a prostitutes modesty at a millionaires convention!

I sincerely hope we see more of this woman; she'll spout propaganda from a sinking ship until she's underwater.
Good for the cause.

She did not mention one private sector job that was saved or created as she was listing all of the jobs saved. It shows you where this administration has its focus.

Don't tell anyone you went to Stanford, Valerie--you may set back their number of applicants for decades (but no doubt, you will save or create classroom seats for more lefties)!
