Sen. Charles Schumer, who easily won re-election last time out, could face a challenge this year from CNBC commentator Larry Kudlow. Interviewed yesterday by Curtis Sliwa onAM 970 The Apple, Kudlow said, "I'm very honored to be considered, and I'm going to give all this careful attention." The former Wall Streeter de cried the Democratic "bank bashing" and said, "I do believe that retiring Sen. Schumer would be a noble cause." Kud low, who had dinner plans with Conservative Party leader Mike Long last night, is set to dine with state Republican Party chief Ed Cox tonight.

Kudlow is a straight shooter that hates all this government intervention. A debate between the two would be fun to watch.

I forget, is it he or Jude Wanniski that's gone off the deep end in recent years? Didn't one of them become a Jew hater if I remember correctly?
If it's us or them, I choose us.

I thought that one of those WSJ commentators went a bit nuts. Maybe I'm wrong.

I wish more people would realize that. Too true.
