Poll: Fla. Voters Want Immigration laws Enforced (They don't want millions of Haitians?)

Fifty-one percent of 1,618 registered Florida voters surveyed by Quinnipiac (Conn.) University said they wanted immigration laws enforced compared to 43 percent opposed to them being waived in the wake of the deadly Haitian earthquake Jan. 12. Voters were opposed, 50 percent to 46 percent, to a decision by the Obama Administration to grant temporary legal status for 18 months to Haitians living in the U.S. when the earthquake hit and divided on allowing more immigrants into the country. Quinnipiac said the survey.

No, but we do need for there to be a way for these refugees to enter our nation legally. Give them the ability to enter legally, and then we can keep track of them, make sure that they are obeying our laws and contributing positively to our society. If we don't give these people a viable option, then it is just going to force them underground, where it will be that much more difficult to monitor them and deport them if necessary.

Refuges from what? Their nation is not under attack, there is no great drought, they had an earthquake. They need to go to work and help rebuild their nation and take care of their children. They belong at home!
