Desperation was written about where I live..so that movie just plain creeped me out..

I can't think of a single book I would want turned into a movie, its always a disappointment to me when I see the movie version :(

True. I have never really enjoyed a movie more than a book...but it is kinda cool to see how a book translates into a movie...especially if the actor or actors in the film are ones you could sort of envision playing those characters.
