17. It's obviously WWII. Korea and Vietnam were jets.

This might be the P-51 Mustang, out best fighter in WWII and one of the best prop planes ever built.

Well I can definitely see confusing an AT-6 for a Hellcat to the unitiated, but it still baffles me that someone would utter Mustang or Spitfire. Thats just retarded.

Actually the Russkies got damn good use out of the Texan as a horizontal and dive bomber during WWII. IIRC they were sent a bunch for training and threw them into service along with the kitchen sink and everything that sported an engine and an aileron.

The T-6 is known by a variety of names; the "Texan" by the US Air Force and US Navy, the "Harvard" by our British and Canadian allies, and the "Wirraway" by the Aussies.
