Today it is chilly but sunny. Temps this morning were at freezing but it should warm up to a brisk 53 degrees!
TOTD: Have you every experienced something that had such a large influence on your life that it completely changed your outlook on the world.? What was your most life changing event? For me it was my last DUI and subsequent arrest. I thought that life as I knew it was basically over. I was looking at possibly 5 years in prison and the lost of every material possession that I had. While trying to sleep on the floor of a jail (there were no more rooms at the inn) I prayed for the first time in a long time and asked God to either kill me or fix me and I really didn't care which He did. The fact that I am still here and life is better than it every was speaks of God's answer. Since then I have done everything I can to show God my appreciation for not just fixing the person I was but making me in to such a new person that the old one wouldn't recognize me. What about you? It doesn't have to be a spiritual experience but I think that any life changing event speaks to the spirit/soul of a person. Has anything ever happened to you that changed you so completely that you seem like a different person?
