"O Canada," the country's national anthem, has included the line, "True patriot love in all thy sons' command," for nearly 100 years. Ottawa now wants to start a public discussion on whether Canada should adopt a gender-neutral version of the song.

Detroit hockey fans pride themselves on being able to sing along with both national anthems, because most of us know the words to "O, Canada" in addition to the words to "The Star Spangled Banner". This proposed change will throw all of us off!
