CRESTVIEW – A father tried to give his 11-year-old daughter a time-out, but she ended up getting charged with a misdemeanor.
Around 9:30 p.m. March 24, the girl and her 7-year-old brother got into a fight over who got to sit in a certain chair, according to an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office arrest report. The father ended up escorting the girl to her room.
The man stood in the hallway watching her, making sure she wouldn’t try to run away out her bedroom window, the report said. The girl grabbed a toy gun and threw it, striking her father in the head and causing him to bleed from a laceration on his scalp.
The girl was charged with domestic battery and is due in juvenile court May 5.
Dude - just take the kid's door off and nail her window shut like a normal person.

or hang her from her ankles for a few hours. Make an example out of her. :D...Government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.

a well timed spanking does a world of good.Stand up for what is right, even if you have to stand alone.

The term "Spare the rod" comes to mind. This guy needs some self defense training, and possibly a set of C.O. Jones.I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. Thomas Jefferson

Actually, this guy is in an unfortunate position. If he did give his daughter a good spanking, the gubment would step in, take his kid, and charge him with child abuse. The Obama Administration: Deny. Deflect. Blame.

Even if a parent chooses not to spank, there are ways to still be tough. Regardless, my sister has a kid who was completely out of control for a while, with frequent time outs and such as the consequences. Finally, she lost it and spanked her once. The kid's behavior has improved drastically ever since, and she hasn't been spanked again.
