The "health care reform" bill passed. Exactly WHY does Obama need to talk about it now? And what is he going to say that he hasn't said a couple hundred times before? And what makes him and the Democrats think that something he will say, or lie about, will make anyone change their mind?RKP5637 Donating Member (1000+ posts) Thu Apr-01-10 03:48 PM

No wonder republicans are so out of it... Fox News is not covering Obama's HCR speech in
Portland, Maine. I don't think any of the R's follow anything but what Fox News brainwashes them to watch/say.
And typically DUers think that if we would only listen once again we maybe would finally get smart (aka brainwashing) and agree with them.
I would say that a president has failed when he has to campaign for a bill that has already passed. It shows not only that it is an unwanted bill, but also that Obama is aware of that fact and he thinks his "ability to give a good speech (as long as it is written down) will convince people to change their mind.

3. They never cover Obama in a way that might make him look good. They know his speech is great so they
won't play it. They would rather have their "experts" on to spend the time bashing him and his socialist agenda.RKP5637 Donating Member (1000+ posts) Thu Apr-01-10 03:56 PM

4. I know people that turn to Fox News because they say it's the only one that
tells them the real truth about Obama. It's sad... these are not bad people, but brainwashed people and it's just impossible to get them to try to think out of the "Fox News Box."Bonhomme Richard Donating Member (1000+ posts) Thu Apr-01-10 04:01 PM
