My friend's kid is being gay-bashed.

Isn't "homo" a pretty common insult for 3rd grade boys to use on each other? The kid should just laugh it off and accuse the other kid of being a homo the first time his parents make him do something geeky. Then, after calling him a homo, he should punch him in the arm. That's how boys make friends, at least that's how they did when I was in 3rd grade.

I guess it was different for me. I went to a small school in a small town. Everybody had dirt on everybody else. We ALL caught hell, but we weren't pussies about it either.
