Report: Palin e-mail snooping jury deadlocked (on only one charge)
Source: Computerworld
The Knoxville News Sentinel reported this afternoon that the jury, which is in its third day of deliberations, has deadlocked on the first count, a charge of identity theft.
The jury has reached a verdict on the other three charges -- wire fraud, unlawfully obtaining information from a protected computer, and destruction of records to hamper a federal investigation. All but the unlawfully accessing count are felonies under federal law.

Or their own. Bet they'd be singing a differant toon if it was their kids cell phone numbers handed out to the world.
In most sports, cold-cocking an opposing player repeatedly in the face with a series of gigantic Slovakian uppercuts would get you a multi-game suspension without pay.
In hockey, it means you have to sit in the penalty box for five minutes.

We are no longer a nation of laws, we are a nation of politicians.

"Looks bad."
Only to those who aren't fond of the law being enforced and those who break it being punished for their crimes.
"these charges are bullshit - I hope it's a hung jury, or complete acquittal (nt)"
1. There is more than enough evidence to prove that the charges are solid.
2. As a result of the emails being hacked, Bristol's cell phone number was posted online, causing her to be targeted by deranged stalkers who left her hundreds of disturbing calls and text messages, including a few from boys who claimed to be at her front door and wanted her to let them in.
3. harmonicon, nice to know that you fully approve of stalkers trying to steal people's identities which leads to innocent teenagers being terrorized and threatened by sociopaths, just as long as the teenager's mother is someone you disagree with.
There's no way that repulsive little punk is going to walk away from this, those are all very serious charges and there's ample evidence of his guilt. He's going to be looking at some serious jail time for this, as he deserves. Try not to drop the soap, you little pig.

All the more reason to kill off the political class. Install term limits - DRASTICALLY cut their pay and benefits - We need to get back to the days of the citizen legislator. The only good thing about the town I live in is that neither the council nor the mayor get paid. The only paid office being elected is the borough manager.
Stand up for what is right, even if you have to stand alone.

Update:
It's official: He's GUILTY!
He was convicted of identity theft, renewing some of my faith in the Justice System (Assuming his Daddy doesn't convince the judge to let him off with a slap on the wrist, that is).
Hope he has fun in prison
