Okay, so I’m not sure how Wonkette got a hold of the above image, but apparently it’s a screenshot Faisal Shahzad’s Facebook page. The main suspect in an attempted bombing of Times Square last Saturday night was supposedly a fan of Farmville, enough at least to join the group “Farmville Cows.” If the evidence is accurate, then Shahzad was one of more than 3.5 million people who’ve devoted themselves to the bovines of Farmville, asserting their dominance over the 1.8 million-strong Farmville sheep. And judging from the couple other pages listed — a mayor and a restaurant in Pakistan — Shahzad didn’t care for much else. Yes, you can start making your “Farmville inspires terrorism” jokes now.
Shahzad is accused of buying a used car, loading it up with fuel, fertilizer and explosives and leaving it in New York’s Times Square, where it could have killed lots of people if it hadn’t failed to detonate. Police arrested Shahzad on an airplane in John F. Kennedy Airport, just before taking off for Dubai. U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said Shahzad has admitted to the bombing attempt. No word on who will harvest Shahzad’s crops while he’s in the slammer. [via Wonkette]
