    I can't find it right now on YouTube, but the most stunning "moment" on film I can think of - and it's literally just a moment - is when Michael Corleone realizes that Fredo has been lying to him. There is just a tiny flicker in his eyes, but it's an amazing moment.

    Agreed. One of the best ever.
    In most sports, cold-cocking an opposing player repeatedly in the face with a series of gigantic Slovakian uppercuts would get you a multi-game suspension without pay.

    That was at the porn club wasn't it? When Fredo tells Geary that Johnny Ola first brought him there even though earlier he told Michael that he never met him? Great scene indeed.

    I agree, that is the best. It's probably the best scene of Belushi's career, certainly Animal House was his best movie.

    These two scenes from the 4th season finale of Lost are representative of the suspense and tension of that episode with everything happening at once. It was riveting television and during the two hour episode I found myself holding my breath at times.
