What Election night tells us about the party directions, and the November election

The Kentucky primary has shown us one thing: The Tea Party has significant influence in the Republican party.

However, as I suspected, this is going to be their undoing this November.

The Republican party is shifting right, shifting to the part of the Tea Party, which contrary to what they would ever want to believe, is a minority party.

Overall, there was only one single race in which a Democrat was running against a Republican. It's the only race that can give us a preview of November, rather than simply showing us where each party is leaning.

In that race, in a CONSERVATIVE DISTRICT mind you....the Democrat won:

So in a conservative district they elected a Democrat over a Republican, and the direction of the Republican is the laughable, easily mockable Paul legacy...well.... this is going to be great...

Oh Yeah. We all know how much of a conservitive Murtha was. And the Dem won by a whopping 7 or 8% percent in an election held the same day as the democrat primary. Boy, what an ass whipping those republicans will get in November.

That district was gerrymandered to make sure that Murtha had a permanent job - AND the Democrat ran as a conservative.

Both candidates appealed to the district's conservative values, claiming to oppose abortion rights and gun control, as well as President Obama's health care plan. Burns pledged to push for the repeal of the new health care reforms.

If you had bothered to do a little research on the district you'd know that the dem base in the district are people who lost work when the steel industry collapsed in the 70s and they have been sitting on their asses ever since waiting for the government to fix their lives. Even still - those union hack democrats are very much against the social engineering of the current democrat leadership. HOWEVER - those idiots are dying off rather rapidly and the district is trending more and more right. Pretty much ALL of the growth in the district are in municipalities were conservatives are dominant.
