NEW YORK (Reuters) – "Diff'rent Strokes" star Gary Coleman has been placed on life support in a Utah hospital after suffering a brain hemorrhage earlier this week, his manager said in a statement released by the hospital on Friday.

"We are saddened to announce that since mid afternoon, Mountain Time, on May 27, 2010, Mr. Coleman has been unconscious and on life support," Coleman's manager John Alcantar said in the statement.

Coleman, 42, was hospitalized on Wednesday after suffering an intracranial hemorrhage at his home in Utah, and the following day he was "conscious and lucid" before his condition worsened.

I know he hasn't done much in a long time, but still an actor I've liked.

    Ironically of a different stroke.
"Our president delivered his State of the Union message to Congress. That is one of the things his contract calls for -- to tell congress the condition of the country. This message, as I say, is to Congress. The rest of the people know the condition of the country, for they live in it, but Congress has no idea what is going on in America, so the president has to tell 'em." ~ Will Rogers

That is a shame. He was a funny little man. God help his family deal with this.

My thoughts exactly. Those kids really went down a dark path. I don't know if you caught this but Dana Plato's son committed suicide this week as well.
